A Day at Chaw’se was a fun day of environmental learning, new games, and fresh cultural experiences. Games incorporated learning about hunter and prey in the woods and environmental challenges we face today. In order to better recycle youth learn about the types of plastics and how to identify their quality by the number on the bottle .
Our contracted program designer has tribal youth identify culturally significant plants and their uses and Steven Walloupe teaches youth about plants in the park.
A special thank you goes to all those involved in our youth event on September 22, 2007. Brad Cooke from Earthwater, thank you for your expertise in planning and amazing teaching skills.
